BIO
TRAVIEE (a.k.a. Travis Ying) was born in Hong Kong, currently resides in Lisbon, Portugal. He is a multidisciplinary artist including lettering illustrations, calligraphy, graphic design, stage design, and performing arts. However, he is now primarily focused on contemporary painting. TRAVIEE is best known for his bold use of bright colors, captivating lettering in abstract or figurative form, and incorporation of pop art elements into his work. His preferred medium is acrylic and mixed media.
TRAVIEE’s work reflects his commitment to exploring themes of desire, happiness and self-growth, through a unique and playful approach to everyday subjects. His pieces are characterized by their ability to evoke positivity and delight in viewers, often conveying messages of hope and resilience amidst life's challenges. TRAVIEE creates a vibrant and cheerful atmosphere in his artwork, aiming to inspire others to find strength and positivity within themselves.
